Average Move Hours For items pre-packaged by you and ready to go:
Add 1 hour travel time for leaving / returning to company office.
Travel time of local residential moves is usually based on hourly rates, which depend
also on the time of month on which the travel is to take place.
Please note that the above estimates have been made on average bases, and these rates
may be subject to change based on the specific conditions and circumstances of every moving customer.
RESIDENTIAL MOVES
Moving is done on a price-per-hour basis. This includes a qualified professional moving
crew, as well as a truck fully equipped with all the blankets, dollies and special tools
necessary to safely and swiftly complete your move.
The hourly rate starts when the truck arrives at your residence, runs through the loading
of the truck, continues through the drive to your new home, and ends when the truck is empty
and any required set-up is complete.
A fully prepared home with good access is moved much quicker than if you are still packing
when the movers arrive, having to walk further to the truck means more time and effort.
Remember: although we are a full service mover, the more you are willing to do, the less you will pay.
For example: light boxes on the third floor that could be on ground level and if you are willing to take
apart the beds/shelves and reassemble them at the new house yourself, you will save as much as 20 - 40 minutes
per item on your move time.
